Humans are no different than plants
This summer we had an invasive weed, morning glory ivy, attempt to conquer our garden. It vigorously wrapped around our dahlias and hydrangeas. Our beautiful flowers started to die. It is truly perplexing how intricate and complex the ivy entangles around the other plants, essentially choking off their nutrient supply, attempting to kill them off.
Mother Nature at its finest.
As soon as we pulled out all the ivy/weeds, our dahlias and hydrangeas expansively flourished. A new chance at life - their thriving blooms were a reflection of reconnection to health.
When a plant doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment it is in, not the plant.
This is because the health of the plant is dependent on its environment. You look at the soil health and how much sunlight and water it is receiving. You check for weeds or predators, anything that may be hindering its growth. You make necessary changes to improve its surroundings in order to cultivate its bloom.
Humans are no different than plants, because our health is also a reflection of our environment.
If our health is declining, the mindset of modern medicine has programmed us to believe something is wrong with us or that our bodies need fixing.
In actuality, the symptoms we are experiencing - such as headaches, anxiety, or indigestion - are simply responses to our environment.
If you want to be healthier and thrive again, ask yourself what changes you can make in your surroundings.
Your environment includes what you eat/drink, who you hang out with, what you read, watch, and listen to, and the quality and light that surrounds you.
